As a licensed esthetician, I had high hopes for the DT Collagen Anti-Aging Night Cream. While the lightweight and non-greasy formula made it easy to apply and quick to absorb, I must admit that I didn’t love the cream as much as I had anticipated. Despite its promises to provide visible results within 4 weeks, I unfortunately didn’t observe any significant changes other than its moisturizing abilities.The night cream is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, which is a positive aspect. It didn’t cause any irritation or discomfort, making it a safe choice for those with more delicate skin. However, the lack of noticeable improvements in terms of reducing aging signs, wrinkles, and fine lines left me somewhat disappointed.On the positive side, the dermatologist recommendation adds credibility to the product. The packaging is simple and functional, reflecting a no-nonsense approach to skincare. While the DT Collagen Anti-Aging Night Cream may not have met my expectations in terms of visible anti-aging results, its moisturizing properties could still make it a decent choice for those primarily seeking hydration without the heavy feel of some night creams.

As a Cosmetologist of 20 years, I am a sucker for a new night cream. I was intrigued by the DT Collagen Anti-Aging Night Cream due to it’s ingredients of hydrolyzed collagen type II, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid. Three of my favorite skincare ingredients. The night cream absorbs quickly and beautifully without feeling greasy. The only issue I really had with it is that it is heavily fragranced and the scent reminds me of the skincare products that I used to play with when I would stay with my great-grandmother. It’s a great, simple night cream otherwise. The fragrance is really a big issue in my opinion. While my skin looks smooth and moisturized, the heavy fragrance is enough to keep me from adding it into my skincare routine. I hope they will consider removing it at some point.

Similarly to DT Collagen’s day cream, I felt there were more things that I disliked about this product than I liked. I do feel like this night cream hydrated me very well. Although for a night cream, I found it very thin and watery. I could understand how this product could be possibly beneficial for someone with oily skin, but I don’t think it would be enough for people with dry to normal skin. I also found the smell unpleasant. I do appreciate and like the ethos of this brand however, I believe that more needs to be done on creating a more pleasant experience when using the product.

When it comes to night creams, I look for products that are aesthetically pleasing with active ingredients that are also more occlusive than emollient. I toss and turn during the night, and I hate waking up feeling like the only thing benefiting from my night cream was my pillowcase (and, yes, it’s silk). The DT Collagen Facial Night Cream is surprisingly occlusive – a point for which it scores high marks – but that’s really the only thing I like about it.First, I don’t care for the smell, which reminds me of the locker room of our clubhouse pool. I can’t pinpoint the scent exactly, but it’s simultaneously medicinal and perfume-y. The texture is a little thin for my needs, but it will probably be fine for beauties with combination skin. Finally, the cream never fully absorbed into my skin even when I limited my serums to the bare minimum. I have tactile issues and two furry companions who sleep on the bed, too, so the stickiness factor made me a magnet for hair overnight.Although I won’t continue using this or consider purchasing it, I think it’s an effective cream and may find an audience. In my opinion, it’s simply a basic night cream with nothing special to rave about. 3 stars.
