You can definitely tell with this cleanser especially that this is a pharmaceutical & dermatology-focused cleanser. This cleanser is unlike any cleanser I’ve used before in how it performs and what it does. I’ve used many many cleansers, and while this appears like your typical foam cleanser at first, it’s much more. For being an exfoliating cleanser with salicylic and lactic acid in it, it’s sooo gentle, soft, and silky. It has a slightly sweet scent, not chemically at all. These are two power ingredients that I love, for true chemical exfoliation, which in my opinion works much better and gentler in the skin that physical scrubs. I love how all the products I’ve tried so far from DT Collagen are so gentle and yet SO powerful. It is recommended that you try this cleanser 1-2 a week and then slowly build up. For me, I was able to use every other night without any issue. At 57, I no longer have hormonal breakouts, but I still love having products with AHAs and BHAs in them, especially cleansers. If I can skip a step in my routine, I’m a happy gal. DT Collagen’s Exfoliating Cleanser is potent stuff, and if you have clogged pores, this will clean ‘em up in no time.Very Workable Even for Dry Skin: It’s important for me to mention that I have fundamentally normal-to-dry skin, and the Exfoliating Cleanser isn’t something I can or would use daily. For my needs, this is a twice weekly cleanser for my nighttime routine. The combination of acids are at effective levels, so if you have combination or oily skin, you may be able to use this every other day or even daily. Dry-skinned beauties need to use this sparingly to avoid irritation.The Pink Foam Makes Me Smile: It’s been decades since I thought of B12’s red color, so I was surprised when I saw the foam in this pump bottle. That pink hue is a visual reminder that there are healing ingredients in this cleanser that will benefit all skin types.Closing Thoughts: When it comes to acid-based cleansers, DT Collagen is wildly effective. I enjoyed using this and am thankful for a formula at truly efficacious levels. Even though I won’t be able to enjoy it daily, the only thing I’m sharing is my recommendation for this product. As someone who has dealt with acne most of my life, I have tried numerous cleansers claiming to work, but will leave my skin severely dry, red, irritated, and only worked for so long. However, I must admit that this cleanser is a winner for the exceptional and impressive results I have seen so far. The scent is not the typical medicine smell of benzoyl peroxide and other harsh chemicals in those products. It has a “fresh bed of roses” scent that lingers for a minute and then fades away. Yet, I did experience some peeling in the beginning, which can be expected. So, all I needed to do was adjust the usage of this cleanser to wash in the AM/PM three times a week. Doing that helped minimize the flakiness and dryness!This product gently exfoliates my skin from dead skin cells, impurities, dirt, and excess oil while not washing all-natural oils. It rejuvenates it with collagen, producing a more youthful, smoother, more apparent glow. Since using this revolutionary product, my skin has been improving. It’s the perfect balance in a cleanser for combination skin, as it seems to boost the elasticity and suppleness of my skin. This practical product is so reliable that it is my go-to overnight spot treatment. Add a bit of foam to a cotton swab, dab in the spots I need, leave it on overnight, and wake up to find the zit gone or smaller! I am Hendrika, and I had the opportunity to try and review this DT Collagen Exfoliating Cleanser as a Beauty Content Creator/Influencer and as such I have 15+ years of experience with trying out skincare, hair care and cosmetic products. My combination to dry and mature skin is still prone to hormonal breakouts and finding products that help fight acne without drying out or stripping my skin is not always easy. I like that this exfoliating foaming face wash thoroughly cleans my skin and pores and removes dead skin and sebum but is gentle for my skin and keeps my skin feeling hydrated. I only need one to two pumps of the nice foaming cleanser to cover my whole face. I massage it onto my wet skin in circular motions. I love the nice foaming lather that feels so gentle on my skin. I love that I can use this cleanser when I want to treat a breakout but that it is gentle enough to use even daily. My skin feels very smooth, soft, and clean after using this foaming face wash. There is no tight or dry feeling at all. My irritated skin feels soothed and is ready for the next steps in my skincare routine. It is hard to find a cleanser that works for all skin types, and that includes acne-prone, sensitive, and dry. DT Collagen Exfoliating Cleanser improved formula has it all. As an aesthetician, I look for this in a cleanser, and I enjoyed testing this one out. At 55, with normal to dry skin, I need all the help I can get so my skin doesn't become dull. The ingredients in this cleanser are very effective, with the AHAs and BHAs in them, but to my surprise and delight, it also contains vitamin B12, which you can visibly see when dispensing the foam in your palm to use it. I love the foam texture of this exfoliating cleanser and how it leaves the skin smooth without irritating and drying. It works amazing if you have clogged pores. My skin can handle the daily AM+PM wash, and Within three weeks, I could visibly see the difference in my skin: less pigmentation, more polish, fine lines, and smoother wrinkles.    DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   As someone who has been in the beauty world for 10 years I’ve gotten the opportunity to try a variety of different products. One of my favorite items is a cleanser. I love a good foaming cleanser as I feel that it doesn’t strip my face but gives a nice gentle clean. Since this is an exfoliating cleanser it does have a bit of a drying effect which as someone with dry skin I didn’t really enjoy. It left my skin feeling slightly parched but it did feel nice and clean. It also has a light smell that I didn’t really enjoy. I know that scent varies by preference but this was not to mine. Overall I do think that it gave a nice cleanse and exfoliation but because I have dry skin I won’t be reaching for this. If you are oily to normal this might be perfect for you!

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   I’m a licensed cosmetologist, my passion is hair. But sometimes I love trying new beauty items for myself and for my clients that ask for recommendations. I wanted to try DT Collagen Exfoliating Cleanser. Skin type and age: combination and mid 30s Scent: light scent Texture: foamy I found this cleanser very unique. The scent was pleasant. One pump definitely covers the whole face and neck. Warning I tried two pumps and I was upset with myself that I noticed one pump was ideal and more than enough. The product is easy to apply. I tend to do a double cleanse when cleaning my face. So it was interesting to see you had to use this cleanser on clean skin. I applied this cleanser over my face, massaged it in, left it on for a minute then rinsed. My skin felt clean, a little dry after the first time using it but love the way my skin looked. My skin looks younger and the cleanser definitely helped with my t zone area. I would be recommending this along with warning on how many pumps to use, only one.

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   I am an esthetician and small business owner based in New York. I love trying new skincare and beauty products so I have the best recommendations for my clients and friends. I am split half half on this exfoliating cleanser. If you are looking for a strong active cleanser, this is not it. I found it to be very mild. However, that can also be a positive, depending on what you were looking for. The cleanser is a foaming cleanser but when you start lathering it on your skin, the foam tends to stop after about five or 10 seconds, and it becomes more of a watery consistency. After using my skin did feel clean and exfoliated, but the cleanser was just not enjoyable to use. Unfortunately, when looking for what I consider great skin products, I look at not only results and ingredients but the experience.

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   I enjoyed using DT Collagen’s EXFOLIATE CLEANSER. I loved its rich foaming properties. As soon as you do one pump of cleanser into your palms, it releases a good amount perfect for the face. The foam is rich and frothy. It’s mild and lathers well on the skin. For someone with sensitive skin, I adored the gentleness in this product, as my skin did not seem to be irritated as much. It contains 2% salicylic acid (BHA). This cleanser exfoliates, which helps work to get rid of dead skin. It also works well unclogging pores and brightening the face. My skin has appeared radiant and clear after a couple times of using it.  I also loved that my skin did not feel dried out after use, in fact it felt hydrated, which is from the Glycolic Acid (AHA), Aloe Barbadenis Leaf Juice and Lactic acid that’s contained in this cleanser.  They deliver nourishment, boost in collagen, plumpness, and healthy skin overall. I would recommend this product to anyone. If you have sensitive skin, use less often, and try a test area to see how your skin reacts first.
