   DT Collagen Anti-Aging Day Cream SPF 50 - Mineral Moisturizing Sunscreen

   I am just getting familiar with this brand in recent months and I like it. Their facial cleanser is amazing, so I figured this day cream/sunscreen would knock it out of the park also. Well they definitely did when it comes to ingredients and what they do, such as Vitamin E and lactic acid to name a couple. As a moisturizing day cream, I’m getting amino acids and proteins that stimulate Collagen growth and who doesn’t love Collagen when your trying to keep that youthful look. It helps with fine lines and man do I hate those. It definitely helps with skin elasticity because after some time of use I could feel tightening, that was great. The one con I have about this product is , as a sunscreen. It’s wonderful that it has an SPF of 50 with all the benefits of the day cream but you have to reapply every 2 hours for it to be affective and that’s a bit inconvenient to me. Great product but I would use a day cream not a sunscreen.

   DT Collagen Anti-Aging Day Cream SPF 50 - Mineral Moisturizing Sunscreen

   When I’m going through my skincare routine every morning, I always reach for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50, anything less and I’m just not comfortable stepping out! I battle with Melasma, so I’m particularly obsessed with making sure that my face is fully protected from both UVA and UVB rays. I like how the product is dispensed with a pump, so it’s not a messy application. I also appreciate the addition of a variety of skin-pampering ingredients that are beneficial to strengthening the skin’s barrier… ceramides, etc. However, like most women with Melasma, I know that a mineral sunscreen is best for protecting skin that deals with this condition. Several clinical studies show that chemical sunscreens are not an optimal choice for me, so that’s my only beef with this formula. If someone is not concerned with chemical filters, then I feel like this day cream is a good pick.

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   My name is Karina, I’m an experienced beauty artist and skincare expert so I specialize in both the bare skin beauty care as well as professional artistry. The DT Collagen Exfoliating Cleanser is an anti aging cleanser that removes debris and deeper cleanses the skin with high active ingredients. When I first started using the product I immediately noticed the pink tone in color; as for the scent, which was sweet and berry, it’s simply not ideal for sensitive skin. The exfoliating facial wash was easy to pump and applied smoothly onto my skin, creating a nice amount of foam. I however exfoliate twice a week preferably at nighttime. The after effect on my skin; was that the radiance was far more enhanced and I could instantly feel a softer plus more visible supple skin texture.

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   Hello, I am a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist of 8 years and I must say this is the gentlest exfoliating wash I ever experienced. It comes out in a sudsy, bubbly, consistency. There are no beads at all that you would find in most exfoliants that are in usually a gel consistency. It’s very mild, geared toward all skin types and especially safe for those who have sensitive skin. It states it is safe to use up to one – three times a day depending on how your skin type can handle it. There is a slight pink undertone to the white fluffy sudsy soap that comes out. It feels smooth and airy and extremely light on the skin. It does not leave you feeling dry or cracky or anything similar in comparison to my experience with other exfoliants. However, I did feel after a few days of using it in a row my skin did sting a little so although initially feels extremely gentle, the chemicals/ingredients that makeup the exfoliating wash may have a longer lasting effect, so I highly recommend taking it slow and day by day and reducing that amount frequency you used it irritation or anything start to occur. If it continues, discontinue use of the product completely and see your local dermatologist as you may be allergic or sensitive to certain ingredients,.

   DT EXFOLIATE CLEANSER (Improvement Formula)

   I’ve had more than seven years in beauty retail and have tried countless exfoliators over the years. I’m someone who has incredibly sensitive and dry leaning skin, however I still find exfoliating to be a necessary step in my skincare routine.I found that two pumps of this product to be too much for my sensitive skin. It does say to apply a thin amount of this exfoliant, and I thought I had used very little of this product during my first use. Due to my skin’s sensitivity, I found myself wiping off any excess of this product that I could, because it felt like it was particularly strong for me. My skin immediately felt tight after use (and the product does suggest to use this as a second step after a traditional cleanser. Full disclosure, I used a gentle lotion based cleanser that wouldn’t dry out my skin since I had a feeling that this would be a strong exfoliator).This exfoliator is too strong for me to use on a daily basis due to my overly sensitive and dry skin, and it left my skin looking red and irritated after the multiple times I used this to make my review.I found that the scent was not one I particularly enjoyed, and to be fair I am quite sensitive to fragranced skincare. Because the scent and product were both too strong for me to incorporate this into my day to day routine, I had to remove two stars. I was able to correct it with a hydrating and active free serum/moisturizer after. I still would say that this product would work really well for people who deal with sebum/oily skin. My favorite thing about this product is that fact that so little product is needed. Just one pump was enough for my entire face.
